Because music can be discovered from an early age, La Seine Musicale invites music lovers, young and old, to share a timeless moment. Le Classique du Dimanche is the meeting point for curious families: educational concerts, cine-concerts, tales and stories set to music… At the Auditorium de La Seine Musicale, classical music takes on a thousand faces and is experienced at a child's level.

When animals come to life thanks to the instruments of the orchestra, it's an invitation to travel and dream at a child's level, but also to have fun as a family around a joyful bestiary! Ten instrumentalists, a storyteller and an illustrator introduce music to the very young thanks to Camille Saint-Saëns' sumptuous score, Le Carnaval des animaux, which blends mischief and emotion and creates a dialogue between enchantment and comedy. For the occasion, Alex Vizorek has composed mischievous alexandrines to accompany the characters of this funny zoological adventure. In turn, each of them comes to life before your eyes thanks to the virtual reality drawings of illustrator Karo Pauwels, who conjures up elephants, fish and landscapes!

Like Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf, this animal pastiche offers an ideal opportunity to introduce children to classical music and help them love it. A total artistic experience for families to discover this masterpiece and learn to recognise musical instruments while having fun and marvelling!
