Thomas Jacob Bergersen, born on 4th July 1980 in Trondheim, Norway, is a Norwegian composer. He co-founded, with Nick Phoenix, the music production company Two Steps from Hell in 2006, specialising in epic classical music. Bergersen's compositions have been used for the promotion of numerous well-known films, such as Avatar, Pirates of the Caribbean, Twilight, Narnia, Harry Potter, The Da Vinci Code, The Mummy, The Dark Knight, Interstellar, and others.
