Between biotechnologies and surreal figures, this international co-production plunges us into a future where cloning shakes our certainties about life and death.

Multiple-time show with 6 sessions per day. Created by Craig Quintero and Phoebe Greenberg, Blur is a hybrid work that pushes the boundaries of theatrical narrative by integrating cutting-edge mixed reality technologies.

At the heart of this 50-minute journey, the audience is invited to explore a world where advances in resurrection biology and cloning have blurred the lines between the natural and the artificial.

The experience poses a fundamental ethical question: what would you do if you could conquer death?

Inspired by the Theatre of the Absurd, this production unfolds like a dreamscape populated by hybrid creatures, such as Dolly, a half-human, half-animal figure embodying the grey areas of genetic engineering.

Thanks to volumetric motion capture and augmented reality, the raw emotions of the performers merge into virtual environments, creating a disturbing dialogue between the living and the dead.

This creation is the result of an international collaboration between PHI Studio (Montreal), Riverbed Theatre (Taipei) and Onassis Culture (Athens).

Acclaimed during its presentation at the Venice Film Festival, BLUR offers a new paradigm for live performance, where digital technology amplifies storytelling.

More than a performance, it is a profound meditation on grief, identity, and what fundamentally makes us human in the face of scientific progress. A work that is both dense and captivating, recommended for audiences aged 16 and over.
