Arnaud Dolmen et le Vitygroove

Drummer and composer Arnaud Dolmen explores a new facet of his universe with Vitygroove, blending contemporary jazz, groove, and electric textures. Surrounded by his bandmates, the Guadeloupean drummer unfolds modern music, in the spirit of Herbie Hancock or FKJ. Arnaud Dolmen has established himself as one of the most unique voices on the contemporary Caribbean jazz scene. Trained at the crossroads of Antillean heritage, he has built a career where rhythmic rigor meets the freedom of improvisation. Today, he holds an important place in the Caribbean musical landscape. He doesn't just interpret jazz: he reinvents it from the Antilles, infusing it with pulsations inherited from the music of the archipelago. With VityGroove, he brings together five outstanding musicians and now performs his original repertoire on stage. Born out of his residency at Banlieues Bleues, the project is already making its mark in prestigious venues and festivals.
