Founded in 1874, this amateur orchestra, one of the oldest in the capital, brings together over seventy musicians in repertoires at the crossroads of classical and contemporary music. With the creation of Nous sommes le vent, La Sirène de Paris offers an original collaboration with the jazz quartet Hormê – trombone, guitar, double bass, drums – to ignite the imagination. The repertoire, built around Rozann Bézier's compositions, paints shifting landscapes, traversed by breaths and bursts. These fiery works delve into the heart of climatic elements, from mists to storms, with unprecedented emotional intensity. Under the direction of William Le Sage, La Sirène de Paris's wind orchestra reveals all its sensitivity and taste for collective dynamics. True to its mission, it champions more than ever a vibrant musical practice, where popular music and contemporary creation engage in dialogue.
