Attention, in front of you Tom Cassani is about to… swallow swords. With Inside, the English performer takes on – not without a touch of humour – this frankly dangerous act to turn it into an exercise in introspection.

An artist with a strong singularity, he moves from dance to theatre, from circus to cabaret. Tom Cassani's performances are based on an expanded magic that challenges our perception and our relationship to truth. Here, his gesture shifts towards the intimate.

Sword swallowing becomes at once an unveiling, a lecture, a demonstration, an obsession, and a collective celebration of being alive. Faced with him, mesmerised, the audience moves from dread to fascination, from doubt to compassion.
