For Alma is not alone: it is also the story of 72 little girls who filed complaints, of 19 women who testify in assize court, of their words finally heard.

With this free adaptation of Adélaïde Bon's account, La Petite fille sur la banquise, Pauline Bureau, an associate artist at CENTQUATRE-PARIS, continues her exploration of the links between the intimate and the political.

The stage design – featuring remarkable video work – allows the author and director to pay equal attention to the narrative and the emotional experience, engaging the audience in a process that is both documentary and empathetic.
