In this new work, the choreographer draws inspiration from the spontaneous gatherings that unite individuals in their civic impulses. He explores the energy flowing through bodies, the modes of identification, and the tacit codes of those who commit to a common cause: where do these movements aspiring to change the course of the world originate?

Sit-ins, marches, breathless races, and burning tears sometimes provoke this exhilaration of belonging to a new power, generating its share of encounters and love stories. When popular movements transform into a vital necessity, when two gazes meet in a crowd with a glimmer of hope, they cannot but touch a choreographer who has been creating for forty years with dancers who also commit daily to a collective union.
